I have been in the industry for over 20 years. I have a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) from Kaplan Australia and have more recently completed the NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5.

I provide personalised advice that takes into account your individual circumstances to determine the personal risk products that best meet your personal goals and needs.

My recommendation is limited to the products offered by the following companies:

To ensure that advice remains accessible, Alpha 1 Insurance Brokers does not charge an upfront fee for providing personal risk insurance

advice nor will we ever charge you any fees for both implementing advice if you decide to proceed as well as for ongoing review meetings

in the years ahead or for helping you with claims.

In place of an upfront fee, Alpha 1 Insurance Brokers is paid a commission by the recommended insurance provider from the premium

they charge you for your cover. This commission will range from 120% to 230% of the first years premium, depending on which

products and also insurer you decide to take out cover with. I will then receive a servicing commission of 5- 10% of the annual premium

for the Iife of the policy. I will confirm the amount of commission Alpha 1 Insurance Brokers will receive when I provide my

recommendation to you.

To ensure your needs are prioritised, you will also receive a written advice document that outlines the cover and why it was implemented

over other providers available to me.

I Work For You

As a Financial Adviser, it is my duty to abide by the Code of Conduct for Financial Service Providers.

Although I am paid by the providers for the services I provide, it is you that I work for. To ensure I put your interests ahead of my own, I follow a 6-step advice process when providing personalised financial advice which is based on your individual goals and needs.

I provide all my recommendations in writing so that you have plenty of time and opportunity to ask questions you might have before implementing any of my advice.

We are always looking for ways to improve our service to you. If something has gone wrong, we want to know. Please send an email to clientservices@alpha1.co.nz and tell us what has happened and how we can resolve matters. If you have any documents or correspondence that will help us understand your complaint, please attach them to your email. When we receive your complaint, we will: > acknowledge your complaint within two working days

>gather and evaluate information about your complaint

> respond to you within 20 working days.

If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you can contact Financial Services Complaints Limited – A Financial Ombudsman Service (FSCL). They are an independent, not-for-profit, external dispute resolution service approved by the Minister of Consumer Affairs. FSCL’s role is to investigate and fairly resolve complaints. Their service is free (it does not cost you anything).
